Growing up, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of having carpeted floors and walking, playing games, sleeping on and resting on their padded, textured surface. Clean southwestern rugs have almost always seemed to make a room more comfortable, especially when I have the unrestricted freedom of taking off my socks and feeling the texture and padding underfoot. So for me, well placed, comfortable southwestern rugs and carpeting make a room more interesting and warm than those with only wood flooring, or some other type of hard flooring. Despite the stinging discomfort of rug rash, a good rug can take the edge off a dropped object, or slow down an unruly ping pong ball that would have otherwise rolled all the way across the room.  I have dropped countless glasses, game controllers and toys that could have otherwise broken if they didn’t fall on southwestern area rugs from Southwestern Rugs Depot. Whereas, mats provide a good destination for feet to enter and to exit, southwestern rugs invite us to stay.

Southwestern Rugs Are Vital

They make homes more comfortable and add a better overall experience to the home. Some people like their rooms with a little less baggage. Lighting plays an important part in a room, but the “rug oasis” or if there are more, rug “oasis”, are great guides for where you want people to be distributed in a room, as once people enter, it seems obvious, that people will want to be near the most comfortable part of a room with hard flooring. This could be used to one’s advantage, by placing the said oasis near sofas or chairs, or even in places to deter others from trafficking places where one would not desire them to be. I would argue, that the advantages of the rug oasis outweigh those of only hard surface flooring and that a comfortable southwestern rug can make a visit experience more comfortable and interesting.
